Paired Recruiting information

What is paired recruiting?

Paired recruiting is a hiring approach where two recruiters or hiring professionals work together throughout the recruitment process. This method allows for collaborative decision-making, reduces individual bias, and helps ensure a more thorough evaluation of candidates. By leveraging the perspectives and expertise of two team members, paired recruiting can lead to better hiring outcomes and a more structured interview process.

How does the paired recruiting approach impact the candidate experience during the hiring process?

Paired recruiting involves two recruiters or a recruiter and a hiring manager collaborating throughout the candidate selection process. This approach enhances the candidate experience by ensuring more consistent communication, timely feedback, and a broader perspective during interviews. It also allows for quicker decision-making and reduces the chances of bias, as multiple viewpoints are considered. Candidates often appreciate the increased transparency and engagement, which can lead to a more positive impression of the company.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a paired recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Paired Recruiter, you need a solid understanding of talent acquisition strategies, interview evaluation, and collaborative hiring processes, often supported by experience in HR or recruiting roles. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), video interview platforms, and candidate assessment tools is typically important. Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback are crucial soft skills in this collaborative recruiting approach. These abilities ensure an effective, unbiased, and efficient hiring process that leads to better placement outcomes.

Job description

Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds, and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Operations Specialist to own the high-touch execution and white-glove logistics of our global executive hiring activities, while playing an active role in supporting the implementation and ongoing administration of our interview scheduling automation platform.
You will be joining a team that currently manages global process efficiency, executive candidate management, talent acquisition tools, training, and recruitment marketing. In this role, you will champion recruiting efficiency by optimizing our global interview processes and scheduling technology, while simultaneously serving as a dedicated, white-glove partner for our executive candidate experiences and logistics. Our group supports Talent Acquisition efforts for Equifax global operations of more than 15K employees.
We believe great things happen when teams connect. Our schedule is built around 4 days of high-impact, in-office collaboration (Monday-Thursday), paired with Friday Flexibility to wrap up your week remotely.
What you'll do
  • Executive Candidate Experience & White-Glove Logistics: Personally orchestrate the end-to-end global interview lifecycle for executive and C-suite candidates, acting as a high-touch, dedicated point of contact to ensure an exceptional, seamless experience.
  • Global Travel Coordination & Expense Oversight: Seamlessly manage complex, multi-destination international travel itineraries, lodging, and ground logistics for global leadership candidates while overseeing the timely processing of executive expense reimbursements.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management & Discretion: Build strong, trusted partnerships with TA & HR Business Partners, and Executive Assistants to Executives and C-suite, managing highly confidential scheduling adjustments and localized logistics with speed, diplomacy, and absolute discretion.
  • Scheduling Platform Implementation & Governance: Play a key role on the core implementation team to transition the global talent acquisition team onto our new scheduling platform. Build out, test, and standardize global panel templates, load-balancing rules, and automated communication workflows.
  • System Administration & Maintenance: Act as the primary system administrator and first line of support for troubleshooting issues within our scheduling platform, ensuring deep integration and data synchronization with our ATS (Workday).
  • Training & Global Adoption: Independently design, document, and conduct ongoing training sessions for recruiters, coordinators, and hiring managers to maximize tool adoption, platform proficiency, and process alignment.
  • Data-Driven Process Optimization: Review scheduling data and platform analytics to identify process bottlenecks; use these insights to continuously refine automated workflows, optimize interview steps, and elevate the overall candidate and hiring manager experience globally.

What experience you need
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing high-touch, white-glove scheduling, candidate travel, and complex logistics for executive or C-suite hiring.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting operations experience in a large enterprise environment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience building data models, reports, or advanced dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, or business intelligence tools.

What could set you apart
  • System administration experience with GoodTime or a highly comparable enterprise interview scheduling automation platform
  • Minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience preferably in a technology environment
