Job description

We are seeking a Superintendent for painting & waterproofing works! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of our policies. The preference is for someone young and willing to be trained OR for an experienced person who wants to mentor others. If you have healthcare experience that is a PLUS!

You need experience with common construction waterproofing methods, applications, and materials used to extend building life and prevent water-related failures. Cementitious Waterproofing, Liquid Waterproofing Membranes, Bituminous Membrane Waterproofing, Bituminous Coating, Polyurethane Liquid Membranes

A 4 year degree is a plus but not a deal breaker

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
