Job description

The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the rolling hills of the historic Brandywine Valley, is one of the premier venues to promote leisure activities through championship caliber golf courses, pools, and state of the art tennis facilities and fitness center. Elegantly decorated rooms, magnificent natural surroundings, customized event planning and impeccable service make any event at the DuPont Country Club truly a special occasion.
The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for a part-time Painter to join our team in support of our facilities. The main responsibilities of this role will be painting of the facilities and to assist in maintaining buildings for proper function, appearance and safety. This individual will be responsible for painting and staining both indoor and outdoor as well as completing minor mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural repairs. This role will also include inspections and changing lightbulbs as needed.
The successful candidate will have/be:
  • 3-5 years of commercial/residential painting experience both interior and exterior
  • Knowledge of painting preparation such as priming, sanding and spackling
  • Experience in facilities maintenance preferred
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools
  • Ability to work on a ladder and scaffolding
  • Team player; willing to assist where needed
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
