You Build Your Career.What you'll be doing:Painting prepared signs and sign components using hand application spray equipmentReading and working from prints, painting materials to specificationMixing and matching paint colors, and loading spray equipment for daily workMasking signs for multiple color paint applicationsPriming steel and other substrates to prevent rust and ensure durabilityWorking with multiple paint types, including epoxies, enamels, and urethanesOperating and performing basic maintenance on spray guns and spray boothsUsing the computer/kiosk to log jobs, clock production hours, and check the production schedulerChecking quality of work against print specifications before and after paintingWhat we're looking for:Ability to read blueprints/prints, or learn to read themAbility to follow instructions and work quickly, maintaining quality standardsBasic math skills - able to accurately read a tape measureExcellent hand/eye coordination and manual dexterityComfortable working around paints and solvents, including strong odors and fumes (respirator equipment provided)Ability to lift up to 50 poundsHigh degree of dependability -- able to consistently maintain a regular work schedule, including scheduled overtime as production requiresResponsible team players eager to contributePrior painting or spray equipment experienceBenefits and CultureAt Blair Image Elements, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support the well-being and financial security of our team.
