Job description

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Journeyman Painter to join our team. You will handle all aspects of interior and exterior prep and finish work. The ideal candidate brings strong work ethics, fine attention to detail, and comfort operating safely at heights on high ladders and staging setups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Surface Preparation: Perform thorough prep including scraping, sanding, caulking, patching, power washing, and priming surfaces.
  • Protection & Setup: Mask windows, trim, hardware, and floors cleanly using tape, paper, and drop cloths.
  • Paint Application: Execute flawless brush and roller work, as well as airless spraying on various interior and exterior surface types.
  • Height Safety: Comfortably and safely transport, set up, and work on extension ladders, scaffolding, and staging equipment.
  • Site Management: Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Teamwork: Work efficiently alongside crew members and maintain clear communication with project leads.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional painting experience preferred (Journeyman level).
