Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our Paint team as a:

Robot Attendant – 2nd Shift

The Robot Attendant supports Paint Operations by monitoring robotic paint application processes, assisting with equipment adjustments and troubleshooting, and helping ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain P-mix equipment, gun caps, fluid lines, regulators, filters, and related paint application equipment.

  • Monitor robotic painting activities and assist with necessary adjustments.

  • Communicate daily process activities to Paint Management and maintain records of process changes and modifications.

  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities for paint application equipment.

  • Assist with creating and implementing paint application programs for new jobs.

  • Monitor and optimize material usage throughout the paint system.

  • Assist Paint Management and Maintenance with troubleshooting paint line and robotic equipment issues.

  • Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.

  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of Paint Applications experience preferred.

  • 3–5 years of robotic experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of paint products, processes, and robotic paint application systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Must be available to work 2nd Shift.
