OCDetailing, Inc. is the Bay Area’s premier automotive paint protection service provider. Since 2012, we have built a reputation for precision, high-end craftsmanship, and industry leadership. We specialize in custom paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coatings, window tint, and color-change transformations for discerning clients and high-value vehicles.
We are not an entry-level shop. We work on exotics, Teslas, luxury vehicles, and full custom transformations. We are looking for an experienced installer who can operate at that level.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Paint Protection Film Installer who can confidently execute full vehicle wraps from start to finish.
This position is for someone who is already skilled in bulk installations, edge wrapping, panel alignment, and clean finishing. You must be capable of handling full PPF wraps independently while maintaining the high standards our clientele expects.
This is not a training role. We are looking for someone ready to contribute immediately.
General Accountabilities
  • Perform full vehicle PPF wraps (bulk and/or pre-cut systems) with precision.
  • Execute full front-end packages and custom coverage installs.
  • Wrap and tuck edges cleanly for seamless finishes.
  • Install matte, satin, gloss, and colored PPF.
  • Disassemble and reassemble panels when required for proper film installation.
  • Identify and correct imperfections prior to film application.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate clearly with management regarding timelines and vehicle status.
  • Ensure all installations meet OCDetailing’s quality control standards.
  • Participate in 2–3 week follow-up inspections when needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2–3+ years of professional PPF installation experience.
  • Proven ability to complete full vehicle wraps independently.
  • Strong experience with bulk installs and edge wrapping.
  • Comfortable working on high-end, luxury, and exotic vehicles.
  • Deep understanding of film behavior, stretch control, and contamination prevention.
  • High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with ULTRAFIT, XPEL, STEK, or similar premium films.
  • Experience with color PPF or matte/satin finishes.
  • Basic disassembly/reassembly knowledge.
  • Ceramic coating application experience (a plus, not required).
