BC Companies, LLC is seeking an experienced Automotive Paint Prep & Finish Technician to join our growing manufacturing team in Loxley, Alabama. We build premium, American-assembled golf carts and are looking for someone who takes pride in producing flawless finishes. This position is responsible for preparing golf cart bodies before paint and performing the final buffing, polishing, and finishing after paint to ensure every cart leaves our facility with a showroom-quality appearance. If you have automotive paint shop experience, enjoy seeing a project through to completion, and have an eye for detail, we'd love to meet you.ResponsibilitiesPrepare golf cart bodies for paint by sanding, masking, cleaning, and inspecting surfaces.Perform body preparation to ensure a smooth, defect-free finish.Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections and perform necessary corrections.Buff, polish, and finish painted bodies to achieve a high-gloss, showroom-quality appearance.Apply decals, graphics, and final cosmetic components as required.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow quality standards and production schedules.Work closely with the paint department to ensure consistent, high-quality results.Required QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of automotive, marine, or industrial paint shop experience.Experience with paint preparation, sanding, masking, and finish work.Experience buffing, polishing, and correcting painted surfaces.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.Ability to identify and correct minor paint imperfections.Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license required.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.Preferred QualificationsAutomotive collision repair or refinish experience.Experience with DA sanders, polishing equipment, and detailing tools.Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.Knowledge of automotive paint systems and finishing techniques.
