Job description

To thrive as a Tinter, you must be able to see color and have the ability to read and follow work orders. You will be successful in this role if you are self-motivated, like repetitive fast paced tasks while having the ability to maintain quality.
Your shift will start by ensuring your tint machine is ready for use, logging in to see the assigned workload, and utilizing an electric pallet jack to pull paint bases from the warehouse. Then you will use the computer to carefully follow formulas to fulfill assigned orders to ensure our customers get the exact color they selected for their project. After tinting, verify the colors match, put the product back on the pallet, finish the paperwork (print out BOL) and wrap the pallets. Lastly, you will take it to the designated location where it is prepared for shipment to our customer.
Here's what we're looking for :
  • Must be able to see color and notice minor color differences.

  • Excellent attendance. We can't stress this enough. Tinters are the most vital part of this operation. We need you to get our products on the shelves.

  • A commitment to safety. We are very proud of our safety record and want you to be a part of that.

  • Must wear safety glasses while tinting.

  • A desire to learn and grow. We hope you will think of this as the beginning of your career here. Many of our managers started in operator roles, and we hope you grow with us, too.

  • Physical ability. You will be on your feet for the entire shift. You'll be lifting individual paint cans or sometimes full cases of 4 cans, which can weigh up to 75 pounds. This will happen several times a day.

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

Here is What We Offer You:
  • Competitive pay and quarterly bonus opportunities with a $3/hr shift differential for all shifts that start at 12PM or later

  • Accrue 15 paid days off your first year plus sick days

  • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% match. Annual retirement profit sharing payments

  • Competitive health plans for individuals and families
