Both roles require safety awareness and basic technical skills, but the sprayer has more specialized responsibilities in paint application.

What jobs will no longer exist in 2030?

Paint line helper roles are likely to decline by 2030 due to automation and robotic painting systems replacing manual labor. Jobs involving repetitive tasks in manufacturing, such as assembly line workers, are also expected to decrease as technology advances. However, roles requiring technical skills or oversight may continue to grow.

What does a painter's helper do?

A painter's helper assists painters by preparing surfaces, mixing paints, cleaning tools, and setting up equipment. They often perform basic tasks under supervision and may need to follow safety protocols and use protective gear. The role supports the painting process and helps ensure efficiency and quality.

Painter assistants typically earn between $12 and $20 per hour, depending on experience, location, and the complexity of the work. Job description

Come and join a great new company that has 30 years of specializing in powder coating services.

These positions are in the Assembly, Rework, and Loading & Unloading Paint Line Department. As you are moved around, the start and end times start to change.
Assembly teams help support the production lines by - preloading small parts onto racks to help load them onto the lines; complete secondary inspections prior to shipment; and assembly 'kits' to ship directly to the customers. These are not traditional assembly jobs, but more of a support role to the production teams. This is a very critical area. Some computer work involved. Counting accuracy is very critical. Attention to detail. Inspection and packaging of parts.
-Learn to pre-rack, assemble and package products
-Learn to read and follow details on pick sheet
-Learn to label and verify orders accurately

Rework is our sanding department -

This area is done at 2pm daily and start times fluctuate depending on overtime. Earliest they would be in would be 4 am on 10 hour day

-they will be sanding parts, helping load and unload ovens,

-Need to be willing to go to other lines and help out (paint room and load areas)

-plugging parts in our paint rooms (putting different style plugs in parts that the customer requires)

-able to use both hands to plug parts (not just one plug at a time, takes both hands to keep up)

-able to take direction and work with several different people

Lunches are paid. Employees are not allowed to leave or break in their vehicles. We do offer a patio outside the break room.

  • Must not be afraid of getting dirty!
  • lifting up to 50lbs
  • Criminal background and drug screen required
  • Shift end times vary
  • Cross-trained in all areas to find the best fit. ( Please do not walk-out)
  • Good Attendance
  • HS Diploma/GED needed

Sending 2 people:
We do not place them in the same area so schedules may not be the same. We find that if one doesn't show up the other won't so we lose both. We do accept but they must be able to come to work if the other doesn't and understand they most likely will not work on the same line. We can try to place in the same schedule but won't be the same line.
