Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Dual Plant Coordinator- 2nd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $23 per hour.
The shift hours are 3:30 pm - 2:00 am.

What you'll do:
This position is primarily focused on Coordinating all material Flow between plants to ensure AVC has parts and subassemblies needed at all work centers at the right time. This position will require coordinating, kitting, packaging and expediting with multiple work centers to ensure manufacturing schedules are met to meet customer requirements. The function will require an individual to be self-motivated and disciplined to continuously improve the supply chain tools and communication between the two plants.
In this function you will:
• HR to develop generic Safety expectation statement
• HR to develop generic Quality expectation statement
• HR to develop generic Culture expectation statement
• Utilize DMM, AS 400, Microsoft Outlook for emails & meetings, DMR program, & Enovia
• Review status of orders and materials to identify future requirements
• Retrieves Non-Kanban orders from designated rack at the Paint Line to prepare for shipping
• Kit Kanban Parts from Heywood
• Expedite material as needed to ensure material is available to meet production requirements
• Ability to navigate Enovia to compare engineered prints to manufactured parts
• Communicates to team any Kanban parts that are stock-out, or stock-low
• May require lifting, bending, ladder work and other forms of movement
• Assures that work area is in a neat and orderly manner; Daily 5S
• Retrieves Paperwork from the Reproduction Team
• Drive Milk Run as needed
• Other assignments as necessary
• This position will split time between the Avery Creek and Asheville Plant locations.
• Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High school diploma or G.E.D. from accredited institution is required
• 1 year of direct manufacturing experience or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous Material Handling/Supply Chain experience
• Preferred candidate should have a working knowledge of the LVA operations?
• Associates degree in a related field
• Enovia Experience
Position Criteria:
• Strong organizational skills
• Forklift and Powered Industrial Vehicle certification or must be eligible to acquire
• Crane certification or must be eligible to acquire
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds - waist, shoulder, overhead
• Proven history of safe work habits
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
• Computer skills - Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet, etc.
• Must be able to work overtime - weekdays and weekends
