Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
The Production Associate supports industrial finishing operations by sandblasting parts, preparing products for painting, loading and unloading paint lines, and moving materials throughout production. This role requires physical labor, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Sandblast parts in a blast booth while following safety procedures.
- Prepare and stage products for painting and finishing.
- Load and unload flat panel products on the paint line.
- Move materials throughout the production area.
- Handle products carefully to maintain quality standards.
- Lift, push, pull, bend, and stand throughout the shift.
- Work with the production team to meet daily goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Complete hands-on training and follow all safety requirements.
Essential Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and team lift heavier items.
- Comfortable with repetitive physical work and material handling.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working around paint lines and in a blast booth environment.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime and Saturdays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience.
- Paint line, blasting, or industrial coating experience.
- Experience handling large or awkward materials.

Work Environment
Industrial finishing facility supporting heavy equipment and manufactured components. Training begins on 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM) with occasional mandatory Saturdays. Future schedule will transition to 2nd shift (4:00 PM-2:00 AM). Work is performed around blast booths, paint lines, and large industrial products with required PPE provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
