Job description

Paint Shop Helper

A leading industrial fabrication company specializing in conveyor systems for warehouse and airport operations is seeking a Paint Shop Helper to join their production team. This company manufactures and assembles large-scale material handling systems and offers employees opportunities for long-term growth and advancement.

Location: Aurora, CO

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Overtime available based on workload

The Paint Shop Helper will support the paint department by preparing and handling parts throughout the painting process. This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment and is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, familiarity with tools, and a strong work ethic. This position involves repetitive work but provides a clear path to advance into an Industrial Painter role for candidates who demonstrate reliability and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assist painters in the paint preparation area
  • Hang parts on an automated conveyor system for the painting process
  • Mask and prepare components prior to painting
  • Remove completed parts from hangers after painting
  • Palletize finished products for shipping and distribution
  • Perform general shop and production support duties
  • Operate a sandblaster as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety and quality guidelines
