Position Highlights:

    • Pay: $21.00+ per hour
    • Contract Type: 1-year contract
    • Schedule: 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded
    • Location:
      • 215 Perry Hill Road Montgomery, AL 36109
  • Requirements:
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
    • 3+ years of professional painting experience and knowledge in the construction field.
    • OSHA 30-hour construction certification.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
    • Work at heights and climb ladders.
    • Work in confined spaces.
    • Work in high temperatures.
    • Work in a noisy environment.

What does a typical day look like for the Painters ?

You will:

  • 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded.
  • Perform coating work using accepted coating methods, such as brushing, rolling, and spraying.
  • Applies coating techniques to ensure a smooth decorative appearance and meet thickness and level requirements.
  • Applies coating materials with any of the accepted trade devices, including those designed to give special effects, for example, brushes, rollers, spray guns, and graining devices.
  • Prepares surfaces with methods such as smoothing with pumice and rottenstone, filling, shaping, and leveling with metal and synthetic resins.
  • Able to make repairs and alterations to paintable exterior and interior surfaces such as walls, floors, ceilings, windows, and doors.
  • Apply techniques to remove wallpaper and prep surface.

What qualifications do you look for?
