About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and dependable Retail Sales Associate to join the Paint Department at our Milford location.
This is a part-time, hands-on position that combines customer service, paint mixing, sales support, inventory management, and general department upkeep. You will assist both do-it-yourself customers and professional painters with selecting the right products for their projects.
What You'll Do
  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
  • Help customers select paint, stains, supplies, and related products.
  • Mix and tint paint accurately according to customer specifications.
  • Recommend additional products to support customer projects.
  • Process cash, credit, charge-account, and gift-card transactions.
  • Receive, inspect, and put away incoming merchandise.
  • Stock shelves and maintain attractive, organized product displays.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items or discrepancies.
  • Keep the paint department and mixing equipment clean, organized, and safe.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, and current promotions.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and product-handling guidelines.
  • Support other store departments and operations as needed.

Requirements

  • Dependable attendance and availability to work Fridays and some Saturdays.
