PARAMOUNT: Color Specialist (Part-Time)

This role is highly visible and plays a key part in supporting Schumacher's manufacturing operations.

Role Overview
Paramount Print's Color Specialists are detail-oriented and skilled in manual color mixing. This role focuses on achieving precise color results for screen printing projects while working closely with design teams and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and match paint colors manually to achieve accurate and consistent results
  • Interpret project requirements to create customized color palettes
  • Match existing colors or provided samples using precise color mixing techniques
  • Produce sample batches for client approval, ensuring accuracy in tone and intensity
  • Adjust and refine color mixes based on feedback or evolving project needs
  • Follow color formulas and instructions provided by designers and clients
  • Conduct color testing to ensure accurate strikeoffs
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory, formulas, ratios, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with design teams to align on expectations and execution
  • Maintain and organize color inventory and supplies
  • Monitor and evaluate color quality throughout the printing process
  • Collaborate with printers and production team members to ensure smooth workflow
  • Use a keen eye for detail to identify and address color discrepancies
  • Ensure all color mixing equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
