Job Overview
Timely, effectively prepare and paint components for mining and construction equipment. Assist technicians with repairs.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Effectively clean and prepare earth moving equipment components for painting to ensure high quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Effectively mask and paint equipment components utilizing pressured spray painting equipment in a professional manner, in a minimum amount of time, to maintain cost effectiveness.
  • Prepare Company Shipping Reports and see the necessary steps are completed to assure that rebuild components arrive correctly at their specified destinations.
  • Assure that Cleaning Area personnel are addressing workload, and assist as necessary to confirm that quality and quantity objectives are being achieved.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent preferred
  • 1 + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients and other employees
  • Mathematical Skills: ability to do basic to intermediate math
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of database software, Internet software, manufacturing software and order processing systems
  • Analytical Skills: Uses intuition and experience to complement data
  • Problem Solving Skills: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
