Paid Search Specialist

Acceler8Labs

Oakville, ON โ€ข Remote

Full-time

Re-posted 20 days ago

Job description

Acceler8 Labs is where growth gets personal.

We're a performance marketing company founded by two former Facebookers who decided to build something better after seeing the gap between traditional agencies and the real needs of modern brands.

We believe scale isn't about bigger budgets but smarter decisions. Our team has helped brands across the globe generate over $1 billion in revenue by combining sharp strategy, bold creativity, and hands-on execution.

We're designed for the digital era, where everything evolves at the speed of light. Our work evolves alongside it, adapting to the industries, platforms, and audiences we help grow.

We partner with some of the world's fastest-growing brands, from disruptive startups to global household names, to turn marketing spend into measurable business growth.

About the Role
We're looking for a full-time Paid Search Specialist who can turn search intent into measurable business growth.

This isn't a role where you'll simply manage campaigns from a checklist. You'll own performance across a portfolio of ecommerce brands, building, optimizing, and scaling Google Ads programs that directly impact revenue.

You'll work across Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, GA4, and Performance Max, treating data as a feedback loop rather than a report card. You'll partner closely with clients, our creative team, and paid social specialists to ensure every campaign works as part of a broader growth strategy.

The brands you'll support are ambitious ecommerce businesses that rely on us to make smart decisions with every advertising dollar. Your success will be measured by the business outcomes you generate, not simply impressions or clicks.

As a Paid Search Specialist, you will:

  • Own paid search strategy across a portfolio of ecommerce clients within Google Ads and Performance Max
  • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns focused on revenue growth and profitability
  • Manage Google Merchant Center, ensuring product feeds remain healthy, accurate, and optimized
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve ROAS, CPA, and overall account efficiency
  • Conduct keyword research, search query analysis, and ad testing to continuously improve performance
  • Partner directly with clients through regular reporting, strategic recommendations, and day-to-day account management
  • Collaborate with our creative team to align search campaigns with broader acquisition strategies
  • Manage budgets and bidding strategies while treating every client dollar like your own
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, automation, and emerging search products to give clients an early mover advantage

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 2+ years of agency experience managing Google Ads for ecommerce brands
  • Have hands-on experience with Performance Max, Shopping campaigns, Search, and Google Merchant Center
  • Have managed meaningful monthly media budgets while maintaining profitability targets
  • Understand ecommerce metrics including ROAS, MER, CPA, and customer acquisition
  • Are comfortable presenting strategy and performance directly to clients
  • Can balance multiple client accounts without sacrificing quality
  • Are curious about automation, AI, and emerging Google Ads features
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both clients and teammates
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly
  • Live in Canada (we're a remote-first team)

Why Acceler8 Labs?

We built Acceler8 to bridge the gap between agencies and brands, replacing complexity with clarity and collaboration. Our model is rooted in three pillars: Fuel (media), Spark (creative), and Insight (analytics), each designed to move faster, think smarter, and deliver measurable impact.

Here you'll have the room to experiment, fail fast, and learn even faster. Your ideas won't get lost in a Slack thread. You'll be part of a team that values transparency, curiosity, and craftsmanship.

We take care of our people so they can take care of their work, their families, and themselves.

We offer:

  • Remote workdays so you can design a schedule that works for your rhythm
  • Flexible hours because great work can happen anywhere (and we trust you to know where that is)
  • Comprehensive benefits to make sure you and your family are supported, healthy, and cared for
  • Learning and certification opportunities to help you grow your craft, not just your title
  • Real autonomy because we believe in hiring smart people and giving them the space to do great work
  • The chance to build something that scales for our clients, and for you

If you're ready to lead a team that's redefining what performance marketing looks like, we'd love to chat.
