Position Summary
This position will develop custom WordPress and HubSpot websites utilizing template building plugins and custom code including PHP, CSS (SASS), HTML, jQuery, Hubl, and JavaScript. The Front-End Web Developer will work with websites, landing pages, and build custom responsive emails using MJML. The Front-End Web Developer will also work with other CMS-based websites including but not limited to WiX, HubSpot, and Squarespace.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with leadership and Account Manager to effectively deliver high-performing, custom interactive WordPress, HubSpot, custom code, or other CMS based websites and landing pages.
  • Discuss UI/UX with Account Managers and Designers to strategize and execute web-based projects that fit the needs of the client.
  • Client communication including discussing and explaining technology, process, functionality, problem-solve, training, and more.
  • Code and test responsive emails.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and optimize existing websites.
  • Recommend and execute improvements, both for clients and internally.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
  • Experience with WordPress and plugin-based builders / custom WordPress.
  • Experience with HubSpot preferred.
  • Experience with source control.
  • Adobe XD experience.
  • InDesign and Figma experience is a plus.
  • Experience with ASP.NET and Visual Basic is a plus.
  • 1 to 4 years experience preferred.
  • Practical knowledge of web programming languages (Vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS Preprocessors, PHP, React, HubSpot).
  • Confident in a Mac based environment and knowledgeable in Windows.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with a diverse team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Well organized and able to perform under pressure and manage numerous client workloads effectively.
  • Personable with the ability to relate with client and co-employee needs.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office hours for the business are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm EST and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm EST.
  • Office based employees are expected to work 4 days in office and may work from home one day a week after 3 months of employment.
  • Remote based employees may have intermittent travel to the Augusta office location based on business need.
