The North American Regional Training Manager leads the design and delivery of comprehensive sales and service training programs for technicians, dealer partners, and internal service teams across North America. This role ensures our dealer network has the technical expertise and hands-on skills needed to safely and effectively sell, install, maintain, and service PALFINGER equipment. Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of technical training curriculum, including instructor-led courses, hands-on labs, eLearning modules, and certification programs.
  • Translate complex engineering and product information into clear, engaging, and effective training content for adult learners.
  • Manage and develop a team of regional trainers aligned with PALFINGER's global training framework.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for technicians, dealer service teams, and internal employees.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Global Training, Engineering, Service, Quality, and Dealer Networks to ensure content remains current and compliant.
  • Oversee training logistics, scheduling, assessments, and documentation to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the region.
  • Measure program effectiveness using feedback, metrics, and field performance data, continuously improving training delivery and outcomes.

Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Education, Instructional Design, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical, service, or curriculum-based training within heavy equipment or related mechanical industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic systems, with the ability to translate technical concepts into effective training.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver impactful adult learning programs across multiple modalities, including LMS and eLearning platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills, with a track record of driving training initiatives.
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams; experience in OEM or dealer-based environments preferred, with exposure to AR/VR or simulation-based training as a plus.
