Job description

BRMi is seeking an experienced User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst to support a Fraud Systems team with system updates, planned releases, issue resolution, and business initiatives.

This role will focus on ensuring business requirements are properly validated and system changes function as expected prior to implementation. The UAT Analyst will partner with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project teams to develop and execute comprehensive test cases, identify and track defects, validate resolutions, and support successful production releases.

A key focus of this position is developing high-quality, repeatable, and automation-ready test cases that can support future automated testing efforts.

  • Develop and maintain UAT plans, test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and supporting documentation.
  • Create comprehensive and repeatable test cases aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Design test cases with future automation in mind, including clear test steps, expected results, consistent test data, and reusable test assets.
  • Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps and ensure complete test coverage.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for system updates, enhancements, releases, and defect resolutions.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate defects and issues discovered during testing.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project teams to resolve testing issues.
  • Participate in defect triage, root cause discussions, and resolution reviews.
  • Support multiple concurrent testing initiatives while meeting project timelines and delivery commitments.
  • Provide testing status updates, risk assessments, issues, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Support release readiness activities, including pre-implementation validation and post-production verification.
  • Maintain testing evidence, documentation, and audit artifacts in accordance with governance and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate existing testing processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, coverage, and automation readiness.
  • Promote UAT best practices and consistent standards across testing efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assinged

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Quality Assurance, or business/system validation.
  • Strong experience developing UAT test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
  • Experience reviewing business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria and translating them into comprehensive test coverage.
  • Hands-on experience executing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience documenting and tracking test results, defects, risks, and resolutions.
  • Experience creating structured, reusable, and repeatable test cases.
  • Experience working within Agile and project-based delivery environments.
  • Ability to support multiple projects or testing initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience using test management and defect-tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of automated testing concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Experience designing manual/UAT test cases that can later be transitioned into automated tests.
  • Ability to develop test cases with consistent test data, repeatable steps, and clearly defined expected results.
