Job description

Desired Qualifications: 
Salary:  $16 per hour | Up to 5 hours per week | 40-week school year
 

















Desired Minimum Requirements:

Must be a current Greece Central School District student at Olympia School;
Must be an active participant in the ECHS or Career Academy program;
Must maintain good academic standing (no failing grades) throughout the internship;
Must maintain consistent daily school attendance;
Must have no suspensions or behavioral infractions during the internship period;
Fingerprinting required (costs are covered/reimbursed by the district).

Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to work effectively with diverse group of students;
Demonstrates leadership potential and positive influence among peers;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Availability for after-school programming and events;
Comfort with technology and record-keeping system.
Position Summary/Responsibilities: 
The Greece Central School District is seeking to fill up to three (3) paid Student Intern positions for the Smart Transfer Early College
High School (ST-ECHS) and Career Academy programs at Olympia School. Funded through the NYSED Smart Transfer Early College
High School Grant, these positions provide current ECHS and Career Academy students with meaningful, paid work-based learning
experience while contributing to the daily operations and success of the program.










Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities in this position might include:
Serve as a Peer Ambassador for the ECHS and Career Academy programs, welcoming and orienting new students;
Support ECHS program operations by assisting staff with event preparation, material distribution, and logistics;
Assist with scheduling, communications, and organizational tasks related to program activities;
Provide peer-to-peer academic encouragement and direct students to available tutoring and support resources;
Help facilitate after-school programming, student workshops, and college readiness activities;
Assist with data collection, filing, and other administrative support as directed by program staff;
Represent the ECHS and Career Academy programs at school events, college visits, and family engagement nights;
Perform other duties as assigned by the program supervisor.
