This position is based in Chicago and will involve a combination of remote and in-office work with approximately 30-40 hours a week. This role also requires travel to multiple markets to support client activations and events.

Position Overview
The Event Production Intern will support EA’s Production Department, helping with internal administration/operations, and assisting with project pre-production and onsite execution for client events. This entry-level position requires an eager individual with a strong work ethic and the desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This is a paid opportunity.
Responsibilities
  • Work on multiple internal and client project assignments with a variety of production + technical production team members and other Agency EA departments
  • Provide administrative and project management support to Lead Producers and other project team members to ensure the success of client programs
  • Participate in full project life cycle including brainstorming, strategy development, project kick-offs, pre-production and onsite execution
  • Employ strong problem-solving skills and provide recommendations to assigned project deliverables
  • Research and gather information in planning the execution of events
  • Anticipate project needs to meet deadlines
  • Serve as liaison between vendors, staff and clients regarding event details
  • Work onsite at events supporting production teams and project roles as needed
  • Provide status reports to Production Team as necessary
  • Coordinate and attend site visits if need arise
  • Assist Producers in updating project timelines, processing vendor purchase orders, tracking invoices and payment status.

  • Pursuing a degree or equivalent field experience in event industry
  • Proficient using G Suite products latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Slides, PowerPoint and Keynote
