This Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at the Clinical Nurse II level plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate, patient-focused care during the perioperative period. Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
  • Coordinate with the interprofessional healthcare team to provide safe, efficient, and equitable care to surgical patients.
  • Perform thorough preoperative and postoperative assessments to tailor individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient responses post-surgery and intervene promptly when necessary.
  • Advocate for patients, ensuring their dignity and comfort throughout the care process.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by the team and contribute to continuous improvement.

Education
