Job Title: Warehouse/Packer

Department: Warehouse Supervision and Packout

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

FLSA Status: Non Exempt

Location: Tucker, GA


Hours: Monday - Friday approx 10:00am - 6:30pm

Summary: Performs functions in warehouse involving receiving, picking, pulling and loading of materials in a safe manner.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse
  • Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and
    the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise
  • Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Perform physical inventory as needed
  • Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for
    shipping according to established procedures
  • Ensures security of company assets
  • Performs the job safely while adhering to company safety standards.
  • Picks product to company standards for all Breakroom Services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Mental and Physical Demands: The mental and physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Frequent bending or reaching for objects overhead – may require use of step stool, ladder, or cleaning
    equipment.
  • Working with moving mechanical parts and sharp objects.
  • Lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Working around heat and steam for short periods of time.
  • Working around extreme cold for short periods of time.
  • Working in a moderately noisy environment.
  • Working with frequent interruptions and distractions.
  • Ability to work as a team member
