JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Warehouseโ€“ Packer LTL


DEPARTMENT: Warehouse


REPORTS TO: QC & Packer Lead Position


Summary: This position is responsible for performing the tasks involved in preparing materials for shipping by weighing, packing.


Essential Functions:

ยท Verify products and quantity of items delivered by order pickers to packing slips by physically verifying part numbers, quantity of each item(s), measurement or description, etc.

ยท Report defective materials, inaccurate quantity or wrong part to the Depot Supervisor.

ยท Have all packing materials ready and available prior to pre-packing and staging of an order.

ยท Ensure that products are packed correctly using banding and shrink-wrap so that shipment arrives to destination intact with no damages/shortages.

ยท Is punctual and consistently available for work.

ยท Perform the cleaning and maintenance duties.

ยท Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.

ยท Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.

ยท Ability to lift/move 50lbs using proper lifting skills.


ย Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

ยท 1-year of experience in a warehouse position.

ยท High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

ยท Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

ยท Good verbal communication skills

ยท High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

ยท Must be able to read, write and speak English

ยท Possesses basic math skills
