Who Are We Looking For?

Superfeet is searching for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to be responsible for overseeing the shipment of goods and materials to partners/customers as well as tasks with inbound receiving and inventory control. This includes picking, packing and processing shipments accurately per order as well as inspecting, verifying and documenting incoming shipments to ensure the correct items are received in good condition. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


What You’ll Do:

  • Promote a safety culture; identify and report hazards and help Superfeet maintain a safe workplace
  • Receiving Shipments: Accept and inspect incoming goods and materials, ensuring they match purchase orders or delivery receipts.
  • Outbound Order Processing:
    • Verify and review customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Prepare shipping documentation, such as packing slips, shipping labels, and customs forms.
  • Packing and Labeling:
    • Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.
    • Label packages with correct addresses, tracking numbers, and shipping instructions.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Assist in inventory control by ensuring proper stock levels and updating inventory records.
    • Perform periodic physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Shipping Coordination:
    • Coordinate with carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS) to arrange for timely pickup and delivery.
    • Select appropriate shipping methods based on cost, size, and delivery times.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Maintain detailed records of shipments, including tracking information and delivery receipts.
    • File and organize all shipping-related documents for future reference.
  • Customer Service:
    • Handle returns, exchanges, and damaged goods, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect items for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
    • Monitor the packaging process to ensure goods are shipped in proper condition.
  • Meet assigned Shipping & Receiving KPIs (business and individual).

Your Skills and Abilities:

  • Pallet Jack experience
  • Shipping experience: Pick/Pack small parcel, Palletized shipments
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in packing, labeling, and shipping is crucial to avoid errors
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Communication Skills: Clear communication with customers, vendors, and colleagues
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using shipping software, inventory systems, and office equipment (e.g., barcode scanners, shipping labels)
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move boxes and items up to 50lbs, able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Time Management: Ability to stay on task, avoid distractions & consistently be at work on time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced/dynamic environment
  • Proficient in basic math
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote)
  • A sense of professional curiosity about the business and industry
  • Strong face-to-face, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is often preferred.

Compensation: $19/hour
