Job description

Job Scope:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Transfer Specialist to support internal material and product transfers between multiple warehouse and facility locations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant movement of goods following established SOPs and transportation requirements. In addition to transportation duties, this position will also support daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and general material handling.

This role is based onsite in Piscataway, NJ and pays $22 - $25 per hour depending on experience. This role is full-time Monday through Friday, with hours of 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Perform internal transportation of materials, products, and other items between warehouse and facility locations in accordance with SOPs
  • Ensure accurate handoff and obtain proper delivery confirmation/signatures upon receipt
  • Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
  • Support warehouse operations, including picking, packing, sorting, and staging shipments
  • Verify items against documentation before transfer to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain records of transfers and ensure timely system updates when required
  • Follow all safety, transportation, and compliance guidelines during operations
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or delivery-related roles preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Proven safe driving skills with strong attention to detail and a high level of safety awareness to prevent accidents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to lift and move up to 45 lbs as needed
  • Bilingual (Chinese/English) is a plus

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to follow SOPs and work independently
  • Basic familiarity with warehouse processes is a plus
