Job Title: Shipping Picker (Sit-Down Forklift Required)

Location: Ocala, FL (34475)

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Shift: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday

Job Description

The Shipping Picker supports daily shipping operations by accurately picking, packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for outbound shipment. This role works in a fast-paced, climate-controlled environment and involves regular physical activity, including moving materials and assisting with loading trucks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using basic computer systems, and committed to maintaining high quality and accuracy in all shipping tasks.

Responsibilities

    • Pick parts and materials for customer orders based on instructions provided through the computer system.
    • Use RF scanners and data entry tools to locate, verify, and record items accurately.
    • Pack items securely into boxes to ensure safe and damage-free shipment.
    • Label packages correctly according to shipping and carrier requirements.
    • Verify order accuracy and completeness before shipment to maintain quality standards.
    • Assist with loading trucks and moving materials within the shipping and receiving area as needed.
    • Support general shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and receiving product.
    • Operate basic material handling equipment, such as forklifts, when qualified and required.
