Packaging Specialist

The Packaging Specialist is a hands-on, detail-oriented role focused on the execution of warehouse fulfillment operations. This position ensures that every order is processed accurately, packaged securely, and prepared efficiently for shipment, maintaining high productivity levels and operational excellence on the warehouse floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment: Execute daily packaging workflows to ensure orders are securely and efficiently prepared for daily carrier pickups.
  • Quality Control: Pack orders to ensure all products meet company standards; identify and resolve packing errors, damaged items, or inventory discrepancies immediately.
  • Kitting & Assembly: Carefully box, wrap, and palletize products according to specific guidelines to prevent damage during transit.
  • Operational Support: Maintain highvolume production output, assisting with related warehouse order fulfillment tasks when necessary.
  • Data & Inventory Tracking: Utilize barcode scanning systems and ERP software to log packed orders, update fulfillment statuses, and maintain accurate internal records.
  • Supplies & Station Maintenance: Keep the packaging station clean, organized, and fully stocked. Monitor inventory levels of boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and other materials, alerting the purchasing team when supplies are low.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 13+ years in a warehouse, packaging, or distribution environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic scanning technology and inventory/ERP software. Familiarity with standard warehouse safety protocols.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to crossreference picking lists with physical items to guarantee order accuracy.
