SALARY: The hourly rate for this roleis $48.23per hour.

  • +2.00 rate premium for a second applicable ticket (Welder, Machinist, Plumber, Electrician).

  • This is a unionized position withprogressiveyearlyincreasesas perasper CBA:Year 2027 - $50.05 per hour, Year 2028 - $51.87 per hour, Year 2029 - $53.37 per hour.

OVERTIME ELIGIBILITY:This position is eligible for overtime payin accordance withapplicablelabourlaws and pursuantwithcollective agreement. Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule.This includes double time Saturdays and any hours over 40 at 2.5x on Sundays and statuary holidays

SHIFT:Rotating shift, Monday - Thursday, 10 hours per shift:

  • 6:00am - 4:00pm

  • 12:00pm -10:00pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in a production environment.

  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including equipment common to the trade such as gearboxes or pumps, and specific beer packaging and brewing equipment. Specific equipmentincludes:bottle and can filler, bottle labeler, palletizers anddepalletizers, bottle and can packers, beer centrifuge.

  • Follow plant safety, housekeeping, and food-production quality standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate

  • Willing and able to work shift work (daysafternoons andnights, optional overtime, and optional holidays)

  • Proven mechanical and troubleshooting skills; prefer 3 or moreyear's experiencein the industrial mechanic/millwright or machinist trade. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in a production facility.

  • Welding and/or machining experience is an asset

  • Outstanding work ethic with exceptional discipline, attendance, and safety record

  • Takes initiative, and ability to work independently with limited supervision

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Capability to learn computer-based maintenance software (e.g.for work order scheduling)

  • Experiencein SAPand other CMMS systems as an asset
