DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be consistent in meeting the quality levels set by RFP.
  • Must understand and follow safety, USDA, quality control, and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Work well in a team.
  • Be able to meet standard for packing product.
  • Know the different specification for each product and be able to determine out of spec.
  • Inspect seals before packing, ensure the packed product coincides with outer cases, and become familiar with schedule and Julian dates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • No formal education required
  • Must be able to read product codes, julian dates, and safety signs.
  • Must be able to count to 100 to complete product counts of product.
  • Must have good oral communication.
  • Must be able to follow sanitation procedures.
  • Must be coordinated and able to follow directions.
  • Good attendance record required.
