Job Description

Packer. Apply with us today! We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Packer in a Food Processing company in the Bakersfield, CA area. If you are someone who is looking for a fast-paced environment this is the right position for you! Job duties include packing packs of 1-10 bags from a moving conveyor into a master bag/box. You must be able to count to 50 to ensure proper weight and measure accountability. You will determine the colors to sort through various bags on a pack loop and maintain a clean work area, sweep, shovel carrots and clean equipment. You will place bagged finished product into master-cartons/trays for shipping in a timely manner. Observing all safety regulations, ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met and to maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process. Ensure that proper packaging supplies (bags/trays)/IFCO's/cartons are in positioned to the workstation. You will ensure that the proper quantity is packed. Remove defective bags from pack line and place into rework totes. Making sure that product with labels is properly labeled on both sides. Perform other duties as assigned.
