Job description

Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate and a valued member of our warehouse team, you will be committed to the success of farmers in the upper Midwest by helping the farmers access the seeds of a thriving future. You will assist the team in gathering and processing the product required for filling daily customer orders, always ensuring accuracy as well as packing products so they are received in good, useable condition.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Pick and stage loads for outbound shipment
  • Verify pick lists for accuracy of products, lot numbers, and product counts
  • Wrap and label pallets/packages
  • Assist with blending and bagging of seed
  • Assist with inventory control and physical counts
  • Assist with cleaning of warehouse as needed - sweeping, garbage pickup, maintaining layout, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Able to work in warehouse conditions with limited heating and cooling
  • Excellent communication skills-internal and external
  • Excellent customer service skills-internal and external
  • Minimum of 1 year forklift experience in warehouse or production environment
