Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

This role supports a large independent wholesale distributor of electronic security, fire, CCTV, access control, and commercial and residential sound systems by performing a wide range of warehouse operations. The Warehouse Associate ensures accurate inventory control, efficient order fulfillment, and safe material handling while contributing to a collaborative and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and perform all warehouse functions and responsibilities related to wholesale distribution, including inventory handling, order processing, and material movement.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels and support effective inventory control.
  • Receive incoming shipments by unloading, verifying, and documenting products in the warehouse system.
  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are packed, labeled, and staged correctly for delivery.
  • Use the company’s ERP system to enter, update, and track inventory, orders, and shipping information.
  • Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup at the counter, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
  • Organize pallets and consolidate shipments for distribution to different locations, maintaining clear labeling and orderly staging.
  • Operate a sit-down forklift safely to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily operational goals and support overall warehouse efficiency.

Essential Skills

  • Experience working in a wholesale or distribution warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a sit-down forklift; current or prior forklift operation certification is preferred.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Proficiency with computers, including the ability to learn and use an ERP system for inventory and order management.
  • Strong focus and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Pay and Benefits

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
