A Day in the Life: The Production Worker plays a critical role in executing food production tasks to meet operational, safety, and quality standards. This position involves operating equipment, following recipes and manufacturing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Core tasks include verifying product specifications, documenting cook temperatures, loading and unloading ovens, and performing sanitation duties. The role also contributes to training routines, coordinates with team members, and may take charge of production activities in the absence of a supervisor. Work is guided by standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety protocols, and production targets.

What You Bring to the Table

Production Execution and Equipment Operation

· Verifies product specifications according to manufacturing orders and recipes

· Operates ovens and monitors cook cycles, including smoke generator maintenance

· Loads and unloads racks, pushes product into coolers, and ensures proper cool down

· Sets up, operates, and tears down equipment with minimal oversight

· Performs general packing, boxing, and product trimming tasks

· Operates pallet jacks and hand jacks efficiently

Food Safety and Quality Control

· Completes HACCP documentation and monitors product temperatures

· Follows food safety protocols and participates in safety meetings

· Reports food safety concerns and maintains cleanliness of work areas

· Inspects ovens and equipment to ensure readiness and compliance

Training and Team Coordination

· Delivers instruction to new team members using SOPs

Work Ethic and Conduct

Preferred Qualifications:
