As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support parts, kitting, and order picking.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Parts Packing:

  • Associate must be able to monitor the computer screen to assemble appropriate cardboard box for parts.

  • Associate must be able to retrieve totes from rolling line.

  • Associate must be able to differentiate between various colored totes to ensure timely packing.

  • Associate must be able to ensure proper packing of parts to prevent damage.

  • Associate must be able to label boxes appropriately to ensure proper delivery.

  • Associate must be able to stage parts on pallets to be shipped out of the warehouse.

Kits:

  • Associate must be able to monitor the computer screen to begin assembly of appropriate materials in kits.

  • Associate must be able to seal materials in bags or boxes accordingly.

  • Associate must be able to stage assembled kits in totes to be delivered to packing area.

Order Picking:

  • Associate must be able to be forklift certified.

  • Associate must be able to monitor the computer system to locate appropriate parts from the warehouse.

  • Associate must be able to retrieve parts from storage racks on warehouse floor at varying heights and locations.

  • Associate must be able to stage parts in totes to be delivered to appropriate location for assembly.

  • Associate must be able to place sealed/assembled kits on conveyor for delivery to packing area.

  • Associate must be able to off-stack materials from conveyor and stage on pallet.

  • Associate must be able to transport pallets with pallet jack to appropriate locations.

  • Associate must be able to manually lift/carry empty pallets and place in appropriate location in staging area

Pick-To-Light:

  • Associate must be able to utilize light system to locate missing parts in totes.

  • Associate must be able to move totes down the assembly line.

  • Associate must be able to stage totes to be delivered to appropriate locations for kit assembly.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS & SPECIALIZED SKILL

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions.

  • Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

  • Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.

  • Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.

  • On the job training, regular training and re-certification required.

  • Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams
