Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate .

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Occasional overtime available.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trucks; receive product verifying accuracy,pickingand packing product and putting product away inan appropriate manner

  • Safelyoperatevariouswarehouseequipment to pull and prepare outbound customer orders

  • Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders

  • Maintain good housekeepingof pipe yard and warehouse

  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)

Requirements

  • 1+ yearsof experience working in warehouse environmentsisrequired

  • KnowledgeofPVF(pipe, valves, fittings, cutting, threading, grooving, etc.)is preferred

  • Forklift certificationis preferred

  • Combiliftexperience ispreferred

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.; push/pull a cart weighing more than this

  • Computer experience and ability to perform basic math problemsrequired; knowledge of an order entry system (JDE/Oracle) a plus

  • Continued focus on improving systemefficienciesand business practices.

  • Ability to prioritize workload appropriatelyin order tobalance multiple demands and meet timelines asrequired

  • Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic

  • Self-starter withabilityto learn our systems quickly

Pay Range:

$17.41 - $26.11

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
