Order Picker / Packer
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent company in the Midlothian area, is looking for a few Order Picker / Packers!
Order Picker Packer Job Summary:
  • Pay: $15.00
  • Available Shifts:
    • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
  • Order Assembly: Assemble customer uniform orders continuously throughout the workday.
  • Quality & Accuracy Check: Verify that picked items perfectly match the requested sizes and styles.
  • Defect Screening: Ensure all items are completely free of damage or visible defects before sending them out.
  • Error Correction: Flag and fix any order mistakes or item discrepancies prior to final packaging.
  • Packing: Safely pack completed orders into assigned bags or boxes according to specific brand instructions.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Regularly restock and organize picking bins to keep inventory levels steady and easily identifiable.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Process finalized shipments for small package carriers or Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) transport using online computer applications.
  • Warehouse Safety: Actively maintain clean, dry, and unobstructed walkways to ensure a safe environment for all co-workers.
Order Picker / Packer Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or a GED equivalent.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move constantly through an entire daily shift.
  • Lifting Capacity: Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 pounds independently.
  • Work Pace: A proven ability to operate efficiently with a strong sense of urgency.
