CarePro Home Infusion--Cedar Rapids has an immediate opening for a part-time Packing, Shipping & Delivery Assistant to join our team!

In this essential support role, you'll help pack and ship medications and medical supplies, deliver them safely to patients using a company vehicle, and assist with the cleaning and basic testing of reusable medical equipment. Your work helps ensure patients receive the care they need-accurately, safely, and on time.

This part-time opportunity is scheduled for 1 pm to 5 pm Monday thru Friday (approx. 20 hours per week).

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver medical equipment, supplies, and medications to patient homes following a scheduled route
  • Assemble and pack coolers for shipment and prepare packages for UPS or FedEx
  • Load, unload, inspect, and operate a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
  • Maintain delivery logs, obtain delivery signatures, and submit tickets and documentation promptly
  • Report any delivery issues, discrepancies, or patient concerns to appropriate staff
  • Assist with cleaning, disinfecting, and performing functional checks on returned equipment and coolers
  • Support functional testing of infusion pumps
  • Track and maintain basic vehicle upkeep and maintenance records
  • Follow all safety, privacy, and compliance guidelines, including HIPAA
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures regarding safety, security and patient confidentiality
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality according to assigned schedule

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Must possess valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Proven working experience as a delivery driver
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to read maps and/or use available resources to locate delivery addresses
  • Professionalism, punctuality, and respect for patient confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
