Job description

The Senior Manager, Green Pointe Operations provides end-to-end leadership for all operational functions within the Green Pointe facility, including warehouse fulfillment, production/assembly, transportation, and systems execution. This leader owns daily execution and long-term operational strategy, ensuring service excellence, cost discipline, food safety compliance, and workforce performance across a multi-brand distribution environment. The role oversees both exempt and non-exempt leadership, full-time associates, CDL drivers, and a significant seasonal workforce during peak periods. The Senior Manager is accountable for throughput, capacity planning, systems optimization, financial performance, and talent development while preparing the facility to scale with enterprise growth.
Scope of Responsibility
  • Full operational ownership of fulfillment, assembly, warehouse, transportation, and systems functions
  • Leadership of site management team and indirect oversight of seasonal workforce scaling to 75+ associates during peak
  • Multi-brand distribution processing goods across WMS and shipping platforms
  • Merchandise flow between Columbus-area facilities, wholesale partners, and direct-to-consumer channels
  • Budget ownership and financial accountability for site-level performance

Key Responsibilities:
Site Leadership & Operational Execution
  • Lead all Green Pointe facility operations including receiving, picking, packing, assembly, shipping, and local transportation
  • Ensure alignment of production and fulfillment schedules to meet service level agreements
  • Drive operational KPIs: productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, cost per unit, and safety metrics
  • Optimize labor planning and capacity management to support seasonal fluctuations
  • Oversee execution of WMS, transportation systems, and operational technology

Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and execute annual operating plans aligned to enterprise objectives
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks impacting throughput, cost, and compliance
  • Lead post-season reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Champion automation, process redesign, and systems enhancements to increase capacity and efficiency
  • Serve as site leader for enterprise-wide operational initiatives

Financial & Performance Accountability
  • Own and manage site budget including labor, transportation, and operating expenses
  • Monitor financial performance and proactively address variances
  • Drive cost optimization while protecting quality and customer experience

Talent Leadership & Culture
  • Lead, develop, and coach site leadership team
  • Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence
  • Drive workforce planning in partnership with HR and Talent Acquisition to prepare for peak volume
  • Increase retention through leadership visibility, clear expectations, and performance management rigor
  • Develop succession plans and future leadership pipeline within the facility

Cross-Functional & Enterprise Collaboration
  • Partner with production, inventory control, maintenance, brand partners, transportation providers, and corporate stakeholders
  • Serve as escalation point for complex operational challenges
  • Lead effective communication across functions to ensure seamless execution
  • Represent Green Pointe operations in enterprise planning discussions

Safety, Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure strict adherence to employee safety standards, GMP, SQF, and security practices
  • Promote food safety culture and compliance across all operational areas
  • Maintain regulatory and audit readiness at all times

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
  • 5+ years managing leaders in warehouse, fulfillment, or production environments
  • Experience in ambiguous and start-up environments
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-function distribution or manufacturing sites
  • Experience managing seasonal workforce scaling in high-volume environments
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
  • Deep working knowledge of WMS, fulfillment systems, and transportation operations
  • Proven ability to lead change and drive measurable operational improvement
  • Proven experience managing internal and external vendor relationships, including transportation providers, third-party service partners, equipment vendors, and cross-functional business stakeholders

  • Experience in food production, CPG, or high-volume DTC fulfillment
