Job description

Prestige Stamping LLC is a high-volume manufacturer of tight-tolerance washers and other small metal stampings. We provide stampings to the automotive, construction, agriculture and heavy truck industries.


Prestige Stamping LLC is currently seeking dynamic candidates for the position of:



SHIPPING PACKER

AFTERNOON SHIFT : 3PM โ€“ 11PM

MIDNIGHT SHIFT: 11PM-7AM

Training will take place on day shift for approximately 30 days



Job Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspect the parts in the hopper. Notify the leader of any defects or contamination.
  • Weigh count the good parts on the scale as they are being placed into shipping cartons; seal the cartons with the taping machine. Put bar-code labels on each carton.
  • Place the sealed cartons on the available pallet and wrap the completed pallet.
  • Direct the forklift driver to place the wrapped pallet into its proper stock location.
  • Operate the forklift truck, if qualified, as needed to "feed" the tumbler, packaging lines, storage racks, etc.
  • Sort parts when necessary while packaging.
  • Keep machinery, equipment, and surrounding area in a clean condition.
  • Learn how to operate the tumbler.

Job Requirements:

  • 18+ years old
  • Must Prior Fork Truck Experience
  • Must have math skills
  • Must have reading skills
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must be able to multi-task & work in a team warehouse environment
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends
