POSITION SUMMARY:

The Fulfillment Packer plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate, safe, and efficient preparation of customer products for shipment across fulfillment operations. This position is responsible for carefully packing custom-designed products, verifying product accuracy, labeling correctly, and preparing shipments in a timely manner. The Fulfillment Packer helps maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety while supporting smooth warehouse and distribution workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carefully pack items according to established guidelines, client specifications, and product protection requirements.
  • Select appropriate packaging materials based on product type, size, fragility, and safety requirements.
  • Assemble, seal, and label packages using tape, labels, and other tools or machinery.
  • Verify quantities and product details against packing lists and orders to ensure accuracy before shipment.
  • Accurately label packages with product, client, and shipping information.
  • Process and document incoming and outgoing shipments in company systems as required.
  • Assist with staging, organizing, and preparing pallets and shipments for outbound distribution.
  • Operate packaging and material handling equipment safely, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working conditions in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not have direct reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience operating packaging equipment and material handling machinery is advantageous.
  • Basic computer skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Safety-conscious with knowledge of handling, storage, and shipping best practices.
  • Understanding of OSHA requirements and warehouse safety protocols.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum of (1) year experience in a similar role within a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work in hot and cold climates
  • Varying work schedules based on business need are sometimes required
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard efficiently

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
