Job description

Performs the following types of duties: sets up, operates, and cleans the product fillers, metal detectors, cappers, cap sealers, automatic labelers, scales, conveyors, lot coders, heat tunnels, turntables, Cello equipment, and pumps; folds boxes; palletizes products and hand packages some products; inputs and maintains accurate production records and reports; cleans and sanitizes all containers, equipment, and room surfaces to avoid contamination; works in production rooms as assigned; focus' on continuous improvements for all aspects of job duties; performs other related duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sets up and operates packaging equipment such as fillers, cappers, sealers, and labelers on various packaging lines
  • Ability to work well with others as a team to maintain a positive work environment
  • Makes productive use of time (including shift overlap)
  • Trains newly hired employees and carries out temporary employee orientations
  • Fills out paperwork correctly
  • Must be current on all required SOPs
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
