Job description

Summary: Under general supervision, perform any of the following activities as assigned: moves, tracks, sorts and handles product throughout the order fulfillment process, functions may include but not limited to picking, hooping, sewing, finishing, packaging, sorting, shipping, running, inspecting and auditing.
Position: Second (2nd) Shift Embroidery Specialist
Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30PM Monday-Friday
Pay: $21.35 per hour
Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour
Primary Duties:
  • Assesses work area for safety hazards and/or safety improvements
  • Organizes the work area to ensure 5S is properly maintained
  • Participates in company, site, and assigned production area meetings as scheduled
  • Communicates issues to other teams and management to actively solve problems
  • Performs operator maintenance on each assigned machine
  • Performs start-up test swatch on each machine prior to starting production
  • Prioritizes work orders based on due dates and management direction
  • Analyzes digitized files to ensure satisfactory embroidery execution
  • Configures the job specification in the machine's controller per work order
  • Evaluates each job is properly fixtured prior to execution
  • Load the embroidery machine properly
  • Operates automatic CNC embroidery machines with multiple sewing heads and needles
  • Monitors multiple machines during operations to fix thread breaks and make adjustments
  • Maintains speed and accuracy in accordance with the engineered standards
  • Records all production, damages and issues on daily production paperwork
  • Ensures quality standards by examining finished products
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management
