Job description

POSITION: Project Engineer, Pharmaceutical Packaging Line
LOCATION: Wilson, NC
Shift Schedule: Onsite role, no hybrid schedule.
Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-5:30pm EST
DURATION Feb 5 – 12/31/2024
Job Summary:
The individual will be responsible for Project planning, execution and closure on the installation of new packaging equipment. The Project Engineer must ensure projects are carried out efficiently and on time in co-ordination with the Engineering and Maintenance Team and other relevant departments. The Project Engineer must work to engineering best practice standards and be compliant with cGMP.
Other duties include:
  • Project Management in facilities/engineering
  • Work with design engineering firm during design phase
  • Work with Operations to specify packaging equipment for purchase
  • Manage contractors and vendors to coordinate construction and equipment install
  • Work with vendors to start up and commission equipment
  • Work with our validation engineers during qualification
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or background in facility engineering.
  • Past experience managing projects of similar scope and in a pharmaceutical environment (highly preferred).
