About Us:
We are a local bakery located in the heart of Waimea, HI, dedicated to creating high-quality baked goods with a focus on freshness, craftsmanship, and community. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our back-of-house operations and help ensure our products are made with care and consistency.

Job Summary:
The Production Assistant plays a key role in supporting our baking and prep teams with day-to-day production tasks. This hands-on position involves preparing ingredients, assisting with baking and packaging, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and ensuring smooth operation of our production workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist bakers and prep team with daily production tasks including measuring, mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients

  • Prepare baking trays, pans, and packaging materials

  • Support packaging of baked goods for retail and wholesale orders

  • Label, organize, and stock ingredients and supplies

  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment according to food safety and sanitation standards

  • Receive, check, and store inventory deliveries

  • Communicate effectively with team members to support production goals and timelines

  • Perform routine cleaning and closing duties

  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
