Position Overview

iRESTORE is seeking a Product Development Manager to drive strategic product development and lifecycle management. You will focus on formulation, prototyping, testing, and go-to-market execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet consumer needs and business goals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment, is entrepreneurial-minded, and can translate vision into action. This role blends strategic product ownership with hands-on R&D collaboration and supply chain execution.This role reports to the Head of Product Development and collaborates closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, CS/CX, and external development partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product development initiatives, including concept, formulation, prototyping, testing, and launch.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities in ingredients, technologies, and product formats.
  • Define and oversee product testing protocols, quality control processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Optimize existing SKUs for performance, cost, and scalability, including SKU rationalization as needed.
  • Maintain timelines and project plans for product initiatives, working cross-functionally with marketing, sourcing, production, and design teams.
  • Lead seasonal project strategy roadmaps, including all product go-to-market and growth initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to determine pricing, positioning, and feature differentiation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to translate brand vision into actionable product objectives.
  • Monitor product performance and iterate quickly to maximize impact and consumer satisfaction.
  • Develop relationships with local and international vendors and manufacturers to support product initiatives.
  • Manage vendor performance, quality, and timelines to ensure product excellence.
  • Optimize costs and minimum order quantities (MOQs) while balancing quality, service, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • 35 years of experience in product development, product management, or project management within medical devices and/or consumer products, including beauty, wellness, or personal care categories
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end product development from concept through launch
  • Technical background in product development, including prototyping, testing, quality systems, and regulatory considerations
  • Hands-on experience with product development, prototyping, quality control, and regulatory compliance
  • High familiarity with DTC and eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon)
  • Ability to optimize products for performance, cost, and scalability
  • Experience managing multiple product initiatives across cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Production, Design)
  • Experience working with domestic and international vendors to manage quality, timelines, and cost control
  • Strong analytical skills, including market research, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and post-launch performance evaluation
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, adaptable, results-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Based in Los Angeles or Orange County, CA (preferred)
  • Available to work onsite once per week, plus as-needed onsite support for product testing and evaluation
  • Available to work onsite 45 days, twice per year, for U.S. Summit events
