Job description

TAE Life Sciences (TLS) is a biologically targeted radiation therapy company focused on developing novel treatment to improve the lives of patients with difficult-to-treat cancers. TLS has developed breakthrough technology for the clinical investigation of Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) to provide a treatment option for patients with malignancies that are difficult to treat through traditional methods, such as head, neck and brain cancers. Our proprietary accelerator-based BNCT platform combines two well-known modalities - biological targeting and radiation therapy - for precision treatment at the cellular level.
TAE Life Sciences is looking for an Procurement Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Supply Chain Manager and Buyers, helping ensure the purchasing department runs smoothly day-to-day. This role handles a variety of clerical, data entry, and coordination tasks that keep purchase orders accurate and vendor communications on track.
About The Role
  • Track purchase orders under the direction of Buyers and the Supply Chain Manager
  • Follow up with vendors on order confirmations, pricing, lead times, and delivery status
  • Follow up with vendors to obtain quality documents (REACH, RoHS, COO)
  • Enter and update data in the ERP system (NetSuite) and Jira
  • Assist with tracking back orders, expediting shipments, and communicating delays to internal stakeholders
  • File and organize purchasing and quality documents
  • Answer routine vendor and internal inquiries; route complex issues to the appropriate buyer
  • Maintain and update vendor records
  • Support special projects assigned by the Supply Chain Manager

About you
  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, clerical, or administrative support (preferred, not required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; NetSuite system and Jira are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High level of self-motivation, organization, and self-discipline
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and works well with others

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered (non-Sr., Sr.). The compensation for these roles is $25.00 an hour.
