We’re looking for a Process Technician to join our high-performing team. In this role, the Process Technician analyzes, defines production methods and processes required to manufacture extruded products of new and complex design, while utilizing established documented standards and acceptable variations.
What You’ll Do:
  • Works closely with manufacturing engineers in developing new methods and procedures.
  • Prepares methods instructions to include machine requirements, set-up procedures, operation sequences, machine speeds, time standards, process routings and other pertinent data.
  • Investigates production difficulties, where methods data are concerned, to determine cause. Confers with production supervisor and lead operators and assists with resolving difficulties and delays.
  • Minimize variation through the use of statistical process control. Perform capability studies on new and existing processes. Forward results and recommendations to Manufacturing Engineers for action.
  • Writes Maintenance work orders for equipment not operating correctly.
  • Entry of Process Specifications into the documentation system.
  • Participate in continuous improvement teams.
